1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

CAGS is committed to ensuring that www.cagsgrp.com is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that inclusive digital access is both a legal obligation and a business responsibility.

This Accessibility Statement has been prepared in accordance with:

This statement was prepared on 24 June 2026 and will be reviewed and updated by June 2027.

2. Current Compliance Status

www.cagsgrp.com is working towards full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We aim to meet all Level A and Level AA success criteria.

Current Status: Partial Conformance — we are actively working to address known accessibility issues as detailed in Section 5 of this statement. Our goal is to achieve and maintain full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance by December 2026.

3. What We Are Doing to Be Accessible

CAGS has implemented or is actively working to implement the following accessibility measures on www.cagsgrp.com:

3.1 Perceivable

• All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text (alt text) so they can be interpreted by screen readers.
• Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes (alt='') so they are ignored by assistive technologies.
• Colour contrast ratios meet or aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
• No content relies solely on colour to convey information.
• Video content on the site includes or will include captions and transcripts.
• PDF documents published on this site are reviewed for PDF/UA accessibility compliance.

3.2 Operable

• All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are accessible via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse.
• Focus indicators are visible for all keyboard-navigable elements.
• No content flashes more than three times per second (seizure safety).
• Page titles are descriptive and accurately reflect page content.
• Skip navigation links are provided to allow users to bypass repetitive content.
• Sufficient time is provided for users to read and complete any time-limited interactions.

3.3 Understandable

• The language of each page is programmatically identified in the HTML (lang attribute).
• Navigation is consistent across pages.
• Error messages in forms are clear, descriptive, and identify the affected field.
• Labels are provided for all form fields.
• Content is written in plain, clear language appropriate for a B2B business audience.

3.4 Robust

• Our website is developed using valid, semantic HTML5 markup.
• We aim for compatibility with current major assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (Apple), and TalkBack (Android).
• Our website is compatible with current versions of major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
• ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes are used where appropriate to improve assistive technology compatibility.

4. Assistive Technology Compatibility

We aim to ensure www.cagsgrp.com works with the following assistive technologies:

• Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
• Screen magnification software: ZoomText, Windows Magnifier, macOS Zoom

5. Known Accessibility Issues

Despite our best efforts, we are aware of the following known accessibility limitations. We are actively working to resolve these issues:

5.1 PDF Documents

Some older PDF documents published on this site may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are progressively reviewing and remediating legacy PDFs to meet PDF/UA standards. New PDFs published from 24 June 2026 will be checked for accessibility before publication.

5.2 Third-Party Content

Certain third-party embedded content (such as social media widgets or map embeds) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We are not able to control accessibility of third-party content but are reviewing alternative approaches. Where possible, accessible alternatives are provided.

5.3 Legacy Page Content

Some older pages on this website may contain images without alt text or insufficient colour contrast. These are being identified and corrected as part of our ongoing accessibility improvement programme.

6. Google Core Web Vitals & Performance

In addition to WCAG compliance, CAGS monitors our website against Google's 2026 Core Web Vitals requirements, which directly impact both user experience and search ranking:

• Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): target under 2.5 seconds — we monitor and optimise page load performance regularly.
• Interaction to Next Paint (INP): target under 200 milliseconds — replacing the deprecated FID metric from March 2024.
• Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): target under 0.1 — we aim to minimise unexpected layout shifts.
• Mobile Usability: our website is designed to be fully functional and accessible on mobile devices.

Good Core Web Vitals scores support both accessibility for users with slow connections or older devices, and our organic search performance.
